Job descriptionStrong practical field experience Proficiency in MS Office and presentation tools Experience with project close-out procedures Understanding of commercial material availability and cost Lead project engineering assignments of high complexity across all phases Create, track, and analyze estimates, schedules, and key material quantities Prepare and review specifications and design criteria for mechanical systems Supervise and mentor engineering staff, provide technical oversight and input on performance Guide procurement and subcontracting activities related to mechanical services Perform advanced engineering calculations and resolve complex problems Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements Contribute to performance appraisals and team development
Our client is seeking a
Senior Mechanical Services Engineering Lead to Lead engineering projects and provide expert oversight of technical accuracy, resource forecasting, material specifications, and procurement for mechanical systems across all project phases.
Must Have skills
- Mechanical engineering leadership on large-scale projects
- Development and analysis of estimates, schedules, and forecasts
- Design specification and criteria development
- Advanced understanding of engineering calculations and complex problem-solving
- Experience with procurement and subcontracting coordination
- Ability to supervise and mentor multi-disciplinary engineering teams
