Overview
Taproot Community Support Services (formerly WJS Canada) works to improve the lives of people in their communities through a variety of programs and services. In Vegreville, Taproot provides home-based programs and community supports for individuals with developmental disabilities or an acquired brain injury, as well as addiction, complex mental health needs and complex behaviours. Through community living and life skill coaching, our highly skilled team encourage inclusion, harm reduction and participation to become active members of their communities.
The Position
The Team Leader (TL) is responsible for oversight of program operations in this ACDS CET-accredited agency. Ensures day-to-day services to persons served, complies with contracts, Taproot policies and procedures, and applicable standards and legislation. Works directly with persons served and their families / care teams as required, and liaises with funders, community partners and other agencies. This position reports to the Program Director.
Scheduling
One (1) permanent, full-time position of 40 hours per week, with a flexible weekly schedule. The schedule will be confirmed at the time of hire and will be adjusted as needed to meet the operational requirements of the program. Some hours may be required online. On-call and after-hours support will be required as needed.
