The Role
- Direct and coordinate company sales, marketing, estimating and bid proposals functions.
- Direct and oversee the company marketing function, identify and develop potential new customers, and personally manage existing key customers.
- Develop and manage the sales and marketing budgets and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
- Manage the preparation of estimates and give due guidance and support to estimators.
- Manage the preparation of new project bid packages / proposals.
- Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials including the company website.
- Represent the company at various industry and business events.
- Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
- Work with department managers and corporate staff to develop business plans for the company.
- Establish and implement departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Recruit, train, supervise, motivate and evaluate department staff.
Requirements
- A minimum of 10 years sector related experience
- Previous management experience
- Natural leader ability to move the company forward
- Commercial acumen
- Hard working
- English and French language skills
