Job description

We are looking for an Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead Position for an initial 6 month contract that can be extended and work remotely!

The OCM Lead is responsible for planning, designing, and delivering high-quality change management approaches and strategies. They will work closely with stakeholders, including technical and subject matter experts, project teams, and senior government staff to understand product, service, and change impact requirements.

The ideal candidate will have a PROSCI or similar certification, a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism or English Literature, or a diploma / degree in Creative Communications / Marketing / Public Relations, and Business. They will also have a minimum of five years of experience in a change management leadership role and in internal and external communications, public relations, journalism, or a related role.

The OCM Lead must have strong leadership and team management skills, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, and experience overseeing the execution of change management plans. They must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have excellent business and political acumen.

Responsibilities

Plan, design, and deliver high-quality change management approaches and strategies.

Develop and implement public relationship strategies.

Create and deliver communications that meet applicable standards and are appropriate for the intended audience.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including technical and subject matter experts, project teams, and senior government staff to understand product, service, and change impact requirements.

Apply PROSCI or similar methodology to identify, plan, prepare, implement and sustain changes.

Participate in data gathering and process workshops and provide input for Target Operating Model development.

Review and obtain buy-in for System Integrator recommendations.

Help determine Program team training requirements for implementation.

Develop and deliver communication strategies to ensure stakeholder involvement.

Develop, analyze, and deliver Financial and Risk measures for projects via a Project dashboard.

Participate in end-user training strategy development.

Develop and deliver end-user "Train the Trainer" training.

Guide project teams in using project methodologies, deliverable templates, and tools.

Deliver Change Management approach, including stakeholder management and communication.

Qualifications

PROSCI Change Management Certification or ACMP certification

Bachelor’s Degree (Journalism or English Literature); or diploma / degree in Creative Communications / Marketing / Public Relations, Business

Minimum five (5) years of experience in a change management leadership role and in internal and external communications, public relations, journalism, or a related role

Experience creating impact assessments, building change networks, conducting ADKAR assessments, measuring change readiness, and building and executing associated plans

Strong knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and best practices

Superior writing, editing, and proofreading skills for various mediums

Proficiency in creating change management plans, communication strategies, and stakeholder engagement plans

Demonstrated experience guiding organizations through significant transitions

Strong leadership and team management skills

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Experience overseeing the execution of change management plans

Proven ability to assess and mitigate the impact of changes on business processes

Skill in researching, gathering, organizing, and crafting strategic messages for various stakeholders

Ability to create, launch, and manage communications plans that meet overall objectives

Project experience orchestrating medium to large-scale change management

Experience working on SAP Projects

Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines under tight timelines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Excellent business and political acumen

Strong leadership and problem-solving skills

Excellent listening, oral, written, and presentation skills

Preferred :

Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud software (InDesign, Photoshop, Premier Pro, Illustrator)
