Position Overview :
Responsible for quality workmanship as an electrician for work as assigned for sub-assmeblies and main assemblies in accordance with CEC documented procedures and instructions completing all applicable quality records as required.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for quality of workmanship in assigned area, having an eye for detail.
- Responsible for building electrical components.
- Responsible for wiring and connecting all electrical components related to compressors.
- Responsible for all electrical maintenance and repair around the shop.
- Ensure that time is properly tracked and allocated to each job for costing purposes, by scanning in and out of the jobs through Visual.
- Maintain a safe work environment within that department and on each job.
- To be punctual and available for a minimum of 40hrs of work per week.
- Responsible to identify areas for improvement, ways to better expedite and gain production efficiencies, and cost reductions.
- Know and understand workplace health and safety rights and responsibilities.
- Follow safe work procedures and act safely in the workplace at all times.
- Maintain a safe working environment within the department and on each job.
- Use the protective clothing, devices, and equipment required for the job.
- Complete all applicable quality records.
- Perform work in accordance with CEC documented policies and procedures.
- Other duties as required.
Education :
Certified Journeyman Electrician (Inter-Provincial Ticket)Experience :
Familiar with Industrial Electrical Equipment.Must have the ability to do layouts.Must have the ability to read and interpret blue prints.Electrician III : Certified Journeyman ElectricianPhysical :
