Your Opportunity

Dillon’s Electrical Discipline is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our multidisciplinary team. You will work on new and exciting projects while delivering a fully integrated client experience. The role can be based out of any Ontario office and offers flexible work hours and optional hybrid arrangements.

Responsibilities

What your day will look like

• Lead full‑spectrum project delivery : from requirement gathering, preliminary design, full design, construction, site reviews, commissioning, and troubleshooting for environmental, industrial, manufacturing, commercial, municipal, institutional and infrastructure projects.
• Design and draft power and electrical systems for low and medium voltage, motor control, lighting, instrumentation & control, emergency power, fire alarm & security, communications and other related systems.
• Prepare construction cost estimates, technical specifications, drawings, contract documents, technical reports, and perform testing and verification of electrical systems.
• Assist in site investigations / reviews, create deficiency reports, determine existing conditions during renovation design.
• Support construction administration tasks : shop drawing review, RFIs, change orders, risk assessments and safe work practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members and coordinate with utilities, suppliers, contractors and clients.
• Peer review to ensure all designs meet quality standards and applicable codes (Canadian Electrical Code, CSA, UL, NFPA, etc.).
