We’re looking for an Industrial Millwright for our plant in Barrie, ON. You will play a key role in supporting production and leading maintenance programs in our Maintenance Team. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
JOB SUMMARY :

- Work Schedule : Afternoons Shift (4 : 00pm– 3 : 15am) Occasional overtime and weekend work

Role and responsibilities of the Industrial Millwright :
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on :
Stamping pressesPolyurethane foam injection systemsConveyor systemsTorsion spring manufacturing equipmentTroubleshoot and repair mechanical components including :
Hydraulic and pneumatic systemsGearboxes, bearings, chains, and beltsWork with PLC-controlled equipment and HMI interfaces to diagnose and resolve automation issuesCollaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment reliability and up timeRead and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manualsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts usageEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policiesSupport the Chemical delivery upload when requiredRequired qualifications for our Industrial Millwright :
Valid Millwright (433A) Certificate of Qualification in Ontario through the Apprenticeship programMinimum 3rd year Apprentice working towards (433A) Certificate with experience in a manufacturing or industrial settingStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automationExperience with PLCs and HMIs (Allen-Bradley preferred)Forklift / Overhead crane / Elevated work platform experienceAbility to work independently and as part of a teamExcellent problem-solving and communication skillsComfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume production environmentPreferred Assets :
