Operations Support - Forklift Operator - Day Shift - Brantford

loading and unloading items moving goods from one place to another maintaining inventories storing products and keeping the working area clean and safe .

Looking for qualified and dedicated Operations Support & Counterbalance Operator in Logistics environment to assist our operations team in servicing expanding customer base in a fastpaced warehouse distribution facility.

Answering customer calls and email inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Shipment tracking and tracing data entry.

Preparing documents for pick up and deliveries following set procedures.

Communicating with warehouse staff regularly regarding shipments availability.

Handling imports and export files by gathering billing info needed to process invoices.

Provide back up support for other Customer Service Representatives.

Assisting with other objectives as required.

Multitasking efficiently and effectively with minimum supervision.

Efficient in keyboarding and Microsoft Office (Excel / Word / outlook).

Experience in a warehouse environment required (minimum 1 year) LTL loading experience is an asset Logistics / Transportation warehouse experience an asset Knowledge of shipping documents an asset Strong work ethic High school education or equivalence English language proficiency Attention to detail and accuracy of recorded information Ability to work effectively independently as well as part of a team Comply with safety legislation as per the Ontario Health and Safety Act and company policy experience in loading, cross-docking, and unloading freight to maximize the efficient delivery of customer goods while maintaining a safe work environment
