The Opportunity:

As the Tax Director, you will oversee the organization’s tax strategy, compliance, and planning across a multi-entity structure. You’ll provide strategic direction, manage risk, and ensure alignment with business objectives while leading a team of talented professionals. What You’ll Do

• Lead the development and execution of corporate tax strategy to support growth and long-term objectives.
• Oversee compliance for corporate and indirect taxes across multiple provinces and jurisdictions.
• Provide executive-level tax planning advice on business transactions, acquisitions, reorganizations, and cross-border initiatives.
• Manage and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Partner with senior leadership and external advisors on risk management, audits, and complex tax matters.
• Ensure compliance with Canadian and international tax regulations while identifying opportunities for optimization.
• Drive process improvements and implement best practices in tax governance and reporting.

What You Bring

• CPA designation with 8+ years of progressive tax experience, including leadership at a senior management or director level.
• Advanced technical knowledge of Canadian corporate tax; cross-border and international tax experience is a strong asset.
• Completion of the CPA In-Depth Tax Program (preferred).
• Proven ability to advise executives on complex tax and financial strategies.
• Strong leadership skills with experience building and developing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Base pay range: CA$150,000.00/yr - CA$170,000.00/yr
