Working at the Family Management Office means accompanying and supporting clients in a wide range of diverse services according to their needs and projects.

As Senior Mangager, your main responsibilities will include providing accounting assistance and certification services, as well as supporting clients in their daily operations and needs.

You will have a variety of functions within the initiatives and client needs of the Family Management Office.

Your organizational skills and versatility will enable you to perform or supervise the activities of other team members and ensure the accuracy and completeness of their work.

Additionally, you will be responsible for reviewing various types of certification and audit missions, as well as supporting team members responsible for producing financial information for our diverse clients.

You will actively participate in the integration of new clients to ensure a quality customer experience.

You will coordinate various services for clients based on their needs and organizational structure and make recommendations.

You will serve as a role model for your less experienced colleagues by offering continuous support and development opportunities.

What you will do

  • Working closely with the partner members of the Family Management Office
  • Participating in work meetings with clients to discuss their activities and needs
  • Building and structuring teams to coordinate various deliverables effectively
  • Assessing the accuracy and completeness of work done by less experienced team members
  • Ensuring the development of team members by providing constant support and guidance.

What you bring to the role

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting firm or industry
  • Hold a CPA accounting title
  • Excellent personnel management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possess a strong sense of priorities and the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Excellent customer service skills and an interest in understanding clients' businesses
  • Knowledge of taxation, an asset
  • Ability to work in both French and English

Please note we are strictly seeking someone located in Montreal for this role.

Professional spoken and writing communication in English is required for interacting with english only spoken clients. The incumbent will also have interactions with regulatory bodies;

including the CRA. Therefore, English is required to gather information and communicate with these external facing parties.
