Altis Technology is seeking Help Desk Specialists on behalf of our public sector client in Regina, SK. If you are passionate about technology and customer service, we want to hear from you! Position Overview : As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our users, providing timely and effective support for various IT issues.
You will be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical problems, primarily focusing on Windows 10 support. Your goal is to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering prompt and professional assistance. Key Responsibilities :
- Provide first-level technical support to users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and support Windows 10 operating systems.
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices.
- Maintain accurate records of issues, solutions, and user interactions in the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
- Offer guidance and training to users to improve their understanding of IT systems.
- Ensure all support requests are handled in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding SLAs.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a help desk or technical support role.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting Windows 10 operating systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking fundamentals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Fluency in English is essential.
