Responsibilities

• Risk Management matters
• Development of new Firm policies and oversight and updating of various existing Firm policies
• Management of Litigation affecting the Firm
• Escrow Agent matters
• Client Compliance Certificates
• Client Engagement Agreements (Outside Counsel Guidelines)
• Human Resources matters
• Law Society Compliance and Professional Responsibility matters
• Internal Training and Education
• Firm Insurance matters
• Contract review
• Lobbyist Registration
• General Advisory role
• The review, negotiation and finalization of Outside Counsel Agreements proffered by clients and prospective clients
• The Firm's response to Client Compliance Certificates and related documents (working with members of the Firm's IT group)
