The Calgary Office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP seeks a highly-motivated associate to join our Financial Services Group , which is a specialty practice area within our National Business Law Group.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to practice law in Alberta and have the following credentials:

- Between 3-5 years of post-call financial services experience including acquisition financings, corporate lending transactions, project financings and other debt financing transactions;

- Excellent academic and professional credentials;

- Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills; and

- Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service excellence.

Our clients include foreign and domestic banks, insurance companies, near banks, finance companies, smaller financial services companies, institutional investors, borrowers and project developers.
