Robert Half has an immediate opening for Desktop Support with solid technical ability to bring their experience to a growing team for our client. This is a Temporary/Contract role based in Edmonton, Alberta. You will engage your five-star technical knowledge and your passion for exceptional customer service in order to provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems.

Job Requirements:

MUST HAVES:

• 1 + years proven working experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop and applications within a mid-sized organization
• Proficient experience with working in a Microsoft server environment, including Windows Server, Exchange, SQL
• Expert knowledge with installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
• Solid troubleshooting skills with both hardware and software combined with excellent analytical skills and problem-solving ability
• Working knowledge and ability for identifying areas of improvement through process or technology
• Must be highly motivated with great attention to detail and providing quality results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with different levels and types of users and the ability
• Post-Secondary education in the field of Computer Science or equivalent
