New Value Solutions, a national IT consulting company, is seeking an IT Application Project Manager to help our client with an extensive range of enterprise and site-specific healthcare and business applications information systems and technologies that need to be made operational on large facilities projects.
Responsibilities : Provide project management services for the healthcare applications deployment, assisting with the planning, scoping, prioritizing, and designing of these information systems and technologiesManage a project, or group of projects with healthcare application or business operations focus, through the project life cycleProvide project management services using approved project management processes, tools, and techniquesEnsure that necessary project life cycle processes are completed satisfactorilyTrack and manage the scope, budgets, key interdependencies of projects and the resolution and correction of bottlenecks and conflictsReport progress status reports and presentations on an ongoing basis, and at scheduled points in the life cycle to the Sponsor and to Senior Management CommitteesPrepare roadmaps, coordinate plans, charts, tables and diagrams for presentations to various stakeholder groupsManage quality assurance by establishing and maintaining Quality Plan and Process Control PlansDevelop quality plan and training programs and oversee quality costsLiaise with customers on quality matters, corrective actions / problem, and resolutionsIdentify, assess, and continually manage risk, issues, and changeCoordinate portfolio completion and project sign off across projectsEnsure close out and wrap up activities are performed and documented according to defined project standards and filed and / or stored in agreed upon file storage area, such as SharePoint, shared drivesRequirements : 5+ years of experience in IT Project Management roles.
Experience with healthcare Clinical Information Systems and medical terminology.Experience on large complex multi-faceted projects.
Construction project experience.Full service clinical informatics experience.Collaborator / team player experienced working with multiple stakeholders.
Seasoned intuitiveness about personal and team productivity.Ability to turnaround work in quick order and relatively good quality (minimal avoidable rework).
Work effectively under time pressure.Works independently, self-motivated, works without supervisionPrepared to take initiative.
Prepared to make long-term commitment.Flexibility to be re-assigned in response to shifting priorities and needs across Capital Projects.
