As the DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and processes that enable continuous integration, delivery, and deployment of software applications. This position will also involve collaborating with development and operations teams to streamline workflows, automate repetitive tasks, and ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the production environment. The position may involve being available for on‑call duties as part of a scheduled roster.

What you’ll do

• Lead and manage a team of DevOps engineers responsible for the development, deployment, and maintenance of infrastructure and automation systems.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimisation of DevOps products and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including product management, operations, video engineering, and monitoring, to ensure seamless delivery of infrastructure services.
• Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure delivery issues, ensuring high availability and quality of service.
• Implement and manage cost‑optimisation strategies to ensure efficient use of resources and budget control.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, incorporating them into the team's projects as appropriate.
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Manage team WIP limits, roadmaps, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of multiple projects.

As a DevOps team within a prestigious broadcasting organisation, we work closely with architecture, support, playout, distribution teams, and creative collaborators to bring innovative solutions to life. Our primary goal is to deliver end‑to‑end systems that meet the unique needs of our customers, starting from the initial concept and design phase all the way through to the deployment of a fully operational, polished product.

Our Osterley Campus is a 10‑minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There are also plenty of bike shelters and showers.

On campus, you’ll find 13 subsidised restaurants, cafés, and a Waitrose. You can keep in shape at our subsidised gym, catch the latest shows and movies at our cinema, get your car washed, and even get pampered at our beauty salon.
