Position Overview

Under the general guidance of the Manager or designate and as a collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary team the incumbent is responsible for :

• Assisting with the development and maintenance of an injury prevention and early intervention occupational health & safety program for the clients served under the mandate related to Musculoskeletal Injury Prevention (i.e. Safe Patient Handling Workstations Safe Manual Material Handling). Assessing job functions and completing Physical Demands Analyses.
• Participates in the Disability Case Management process including alternate work duties graduated return to work modified work and transitional work.
• Performing ergonomic assessments as required.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search) Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
