Job Description

Job Opportunity : QA Tester We are currently embarking on a major Business Transformation Project (BTP) to elevate worker outcomes through a comprehensive service delivery model overhaul.

This transformative journey spans five to seven years and covers all organizational facets, including Claims Operations, Employer Services, Finance, Corporate Services, HR, IT Services, and Business Intelligence. Role :

We seek an experienced Tester to develop and execute test plans and scripts, primarily focusing on data conversion job verification.

This role encompasses functional testing, end-to-end testing, integration testing, and report validation. The Tester will report directly to the Project Managers, ensuring project success. Position Details :

  • Type : Full-time (37.5 hours / week)
  • Location : On-site
  • Hours : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM CST

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop, communicate, and execute test plans to ensure data conversion job quality and validate business processes.
  • Analyze application documentation to identify functional gaps.
  • Create and run test scripts.
  • Identify, investigate, and report defects and issues.
  • Communicate test progress and results to stakeholders.
  • Manage and configure test tools and templates.
  • Update documentation and training materials.
  • Deliver trainings and demos.
  • Coach and mentor team members on testing techniques.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of seven (7) years in system testing for large IT projects.
  • Experience in testing complex data migration projects.
  • Familiarity with testing Business Intelligence and Data Warehouses.
  • Proficiency in developing manual and automated test scripts.
  • Advanced SQL skills for database result validation.
  • Ability to conduct functional and integration testing for both Legacy and Target Applications.
  • Capable of providing comprehensive test summary reports.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and advanced SQL.
  • Experience with Jira.
  • Strong interpersonal, management, and communication skills.
  • Preference for experience with Worker Compensation Boards or Insurance organizations.
