Our client in the manufacturing industry sector is seeking a Controller for a 12+ month family leave contract engagement. Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for the following :
- Preparing financial statements and financial reports
- Managing financial transactions and analyzing financial data
- Leading the budgeting and forecasting process
- Leading a small Finance Team and providing mentorship / coaching
- Working on a new ERP system implementation project
- Evaluating and managing risks as well as monitoring internal controls
- Streamlining accounting functions and business processes
- Coordinating the annual audit process
Job Requirements :
To be considered for this contract engagement, you are a designated accountant (CPA or equivalent) with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience and manufacturing experience.
