Role Overview

Our client is seeking a CTO or Lead Engineer with deep Solana expertise to define technical direction, lead engineering efforts, and support the scaling of complex blockchain products. This role blends strategic leadership with hands-on technical involvement and is ideal for someone already embedded in the Solana ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Set and own the technical vision, architecture, and engineering roadmap

Lead and mentor engineering teams while establishing best practices

Guide system design with a focus on performance, scalability, and security

Provide hands-on support for architecture decisions and critical builds when required

Collaborate closely with product and business stakeholders

Represent the technical function within the broader Web3 and Solana community

Qualifications

Required

Senior engineering leadership experience in a Web3-native environment

Strong, hands-on knowledge of Solana architecture, programs, and ecosystem tooling

Deep understanding of DeFi, trading systems, wallets, or protocol-level products

Proven ability to scale teams and ship in fast-paced, high-ownership environments

Strategic mindset balanced with practical execution

Preferred

Previous CTO or Lead Engineer experience at a blockchain company

Contributions to Solana ecosystem projects or open-source initiatives

Established network within the Solana or broader Web3 space
