Reefer Technician

Diagnose and repair transport climate control equipment (truck, trailer, rail container).

Complete pre-trip inspections in accordance with customers’ specific requirements.

Provide estimates on repairs.

Communicate information regarding equipment availability and status to the customer at various levels (fleet manager, driver, dispatch).

Requirements :

Education : Certification as a diesel or refrigeration mechanic or 5 years experience in transportation refrigeration.

• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Strong language skills, oral and written.
• Ability to prioritize customers’ requests.
• Must be organized and able to multitask at all times.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Commercial driver’s license (CDL), or the ability to apply for one preferred.
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and skills :

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent.

Salary : $28.00-$40.00 per hour.

8 hour shift, Monday to Friday.

Saskatoon, SK : reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).

Experience : Refrigeration installation and repair : 1 year (preferred).
