Job descriptionSupport machining departments in process engineering activities. Review coordinate measuring machine (CMM) reports; apply GD&T principles. Adjust CNC offsets in accordance with Quality Operating System standards. Conduct tooling trials, capability studies; make minor NC programming changes. Drive continuous improvements in safety, quality, and productivity. Apply engineering analysis and techniques to enhance processes and products. Investigate quality concerns and implement corrective actions on internal and supplier processes. Lead process audits to enforce consistency with operational guidelines. Develop process / instruction sheets and support best‑practice Lean methodologies. Support ISO 14001 compliance and internal auditing. Identify bottlenecks and drive root‑cause efficiency improvements.
This range is provided by Insight Global. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.
Base pay range
$35.00 / hr - $45.00 / hr

Position : Process Engineer
Duration : 12-month contract + possible extensions
Must Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing and process engineering
- MiniTab or any similar statistical software
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma
Day to Day
This Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the process and capabilities are running smoothly. They will work on the plant floor to keep the project on target and verify that the parts produced are quality parts. They will communicate effectively with suppliers and OEMs regarding issues and process improvement.
