Job Description

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate the impact of disasters (such as floods, fires, or storms) on structures and environments. Also, assess risks, vulnerabilities, and potential damage to determine effective preventive measures.
• Actively work to minimize damage during emergencies. This involves deploying resources, coordinating evacuation procedures, and safeguarding critical infrastructure.
• Oversee day-to-day operations at project sites. Ensure that work progresses smoothly, deadlines are met, and quality standards are maintained.
• Allocate resources efficiently—whether it’s labor, materials, or equipment. Coordinate with teams, manage schedules, and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
• Interface with clients and project representatives—adjusters, brokers, insureds, etc.
• Schedule and perform field inspections and necessary site visits to evaluate the scope of work / damage.
• Estimate medium to large commercial and residential projects using Xactimate.
• Document, review, and analyze; schedule contracts, change orders, correspondence, daily reports, meeting minutes, monthly reports, and any additional documents related to the project / file.
• Provide technical direction to other consultants, interacting and supporting their files.
• Collaborate with Business Development Managers to help develop new business opportunities and continue to nurture and strengthen existing client relationships.
