MaxSys Staffing is currently hiring Pickers for a steel manufacturing / electronics warehouse in Mississauga, near Courtney Park.

THIS POSITION IS FOR PERMANENT RESIDENTS AND CANADIAN CITIZENS ONLYTHIS IS A LABOUR-INTENSIVE POSITION, AND DOES REQUIRE HEAVY LIFTING

Shift : Mornings : Monday to Friday, 8am to 4 : 30pm

Pay Rate : $20 / hour PLEASE NOTE : Separate interview with client required after registrationMAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Monitor To Be Picked tray and pick all orders based on bin locations noted on paperwork. If no inventory, let Inventory Planner know to place order
• Clean and wipe down parts before giving to Packer
• Sign and attach paperwork to the order and place on the packing table
• Alert Inventory Planner of low stock to be replenished
• If order is for pick up, attach paperwork to the order and put on Pick Up Shelf
• Put the second copy in Ready For Pick Up tray
• Loading and unloading trucks, as well as operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Assist with order fulfillment, including packing orders for shipment
• Assist with organizing and staging items for shipment and coordinating with other departments to ensure that materials are available when needed
• Assist customers at Parts Counter

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Experience wrapping / strapping skids is a plus
• Strong attention to detail, especially when dealing with part numbers
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements for warehouse operations
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Familiarity with computer programs and systems for inventory management and data analysis
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• A forklift certification and experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
