Job descriptionBuild and maintain strong project teams by collaborating with engineers, technicians, subcontractors, and vendors. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they meet project timelines. Ensure all team members have the tools and resources they need to be successful. Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure clear and consistent communication with clients, addressing concerns and feedback promptly. Anticipate and resolve issues proactively, minimizing disruptions to the project flow. Monitor and control project budgets, ensuring costs stay within approved estimates. Track project revenues and expenses and report to senior management. Manage and document change orders, ensuring proper approvals and financial tracking. Ensure that all project work adheres to company and industry standards for quality, safety, and compliance. Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and address any issues. Ensure all deliverables are completed to the client’s satisfaction. Oversee the handover of the completed AV system, including training for the client and submission of all necessary documentation (e.g., as-built drawings, operation manuals). Manage the completion of all financial obligations, including final billing and the initiation of warranty periods. Maintain accurate records, including project timelines, budgets, change orders, meeting minutes, and other relevant documents. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management. Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Proven experience (3+ years) in managing AV integration or construction projects, preferably within the commercial sector. Strong leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and budget requirements. Familiarity with AV systems, installation processes, and industry standards is a plus. Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Dtools, Jetbuilt, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to read and interpret technical documentation (e.g., system diagrams, electrical schematics). Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to anticipate issues before they arise. Ability to travel as needed to job sites across the region.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful execution of AV integration projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, execution, and closure of projects. The Project Manager will ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and client satisfaction.

- Lead project kick-off meetings and ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project expectations.
- Develop detailed project plans including schedules, resources, budgets, and key milestones.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of AV integration projects, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to specification.
