Role Overview

The Senior Lifeguard ensures safe delivery of scheduled aquatic programs and provides functional direction, guidance to staff and volunteers. This role reinforces safety, enforces policies, mentors staff, and oversees program delivery.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth delivery of scheduled programs.
• Provide functional direction and guidance to staff and volunteers.
• Maintain open lines of communication with patrons, staff, and supervisors.
• Ensure safety by enforcing policies, rules, and regulations.
• Provide mentorship to staff while performing lifeguard and instructional duties.
• Assist with facility maintenance tasks and operation of aquatic programs and special events.
