Position Scope

The Research Scientist Co-op role supports the Technology Development team across a broad range of research activities that improve the current Direct Air Capture (DAC) technology and lead to the development of new DAC technologies. The Technology Development team develops solutions that reduce plant costs and enable new markets and broaden commercial opportunities. Major responsibilities of the Research Scientist Co-op role range from conducting experimental studies and analyses in the lab. You will be a key part of an elite, multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers working at the forefront of driving the cost of carbon capture down, which is critical for widespread adoption of DAC. Successful candidates are driven students with a keen interest in applying their knowledge in chemistry, physics, and engineering to the development of clean technologies.

Responsibilities

• This position is an 8 month or longer co-op term. Start dates are flexible.
• This position is onsite and based in Squamish, BC.
• The work schedule follows a M-F, 40hrs / week schedule.
• Relocation support is provided.
• This position pays $22-26 / hour.
• Expected start date is May 2026.
