As a Senior Data Engineer , you’ll build and optimize resilient data pipelines that turn operational data into dependable insights. Working at the intersection of engineering and operations, you’ll ensure data systems are scalable, efficient, and decision-ready.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or a Data / Business Analytics
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, preferably in high-performance industries such as bitcoin mining, fintech, or energy.
- Strong command of Python, with experience building robust, production-ready pipelines and Airflow DAGs.
- Solid understanding of SQL, with ability to write efficient queries and optimize database performance.
- Experience working with databases such as Postgres and ClickHouse, with optional knowledge of Views, Materialized Views, Dictionaries and ClickHouse cluster workload distribution.
- Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining scalable ETL / ELT pipelines.
- Knowledge of data modelling, data quality and reliability best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlines in a fast-paced, 24 / 7 operational environment.
- Team player with strong desire for growth and development.
- Superior time management and multitasking skills with a strong sense of urgency.
- Experience with problem solving in complex projects that have a company-wide impact.
Job Responsibilities
Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines to support reliable collection, transformation and storage.Build and optimize ETL / ELT workflows using Apache Airflow for scheduling and orchestration, including authoring and maintaining Python-based DAGs.Develop, manage and monitor data integrations across various internal and external systems.Work closely with operations and development teams to understand requirements and deliver clean, usable datasets.Maintain and optimize data warehouses and time-series databases (e.g. Clickhouse, InfluxDB, Postgres).Implement monitoring and alerting systems to track data pipeline performance and health.Troubleshoot issues in production data pipelines and ensure quick resolution of data-related incidents.Document processes, workflows and data models to support long-term maintainabilityJob Benefits
