Depuis plus de 65 ans, ils sont dédiés à rechercher et à créer des produits innovants de la plus haute qualité. L'entreprise est en pleine expansion sur le marché internationale et les besoins du département juridique ont augmenté.

La compagnie recherche un(e) conseiller(e) juridique pour remplir un rôle généraliste en droit commercial; pour offrir son soutien aux diverses unités d’affaires.

Le ou la candidat(e) se joindra à une équipe juridique respectée où l'innovation, les nouveaux projets et idées sont les bienvenus, et où l’esprit d’équipe est une priorité.

PRINCIPALES RESPONSABILITÉS

• Ce poste prendra en charge toutes les questions juridiques commerciales générales liées aux besoins de l'organisation, incluant la révision, rédaction et la négociation de divers contrats, de ventes et d’approvisionnements, l'immobilier et la location, au marketing, informatique, etc.
• Le ou la candidat(e) aura un rôle de partenaire d’affaires, un rôle clé supportant plusieurs départements différents, et devra faire de la gestion de risques et donner des conseils stratégiques.
• La personne devra gérer simultanément un grand volume de dossiers et être efficace dans un environnement en évolution constante.
• Contribuer de manière créative à l'équipe avec de nouvelles idées, avoir la pensée stratégique et s'impliquer dans l'amélioration des processus des opérations juridiques.

EXIGENCES

• Membre en règle du Barreau du Québec.
• Minimum de 4 ans en droit commercial, idéalement acquis dans un grand cabinet ou grande organisation.
• Bon sens des affaires, orienté solutions.
• Proactif, à l'aise avec le travail d'équipe.
• Débrouillard, créatif et agile.
• Capacité de bien travailler dans un environnement en évolution rapide.

ABOUT THE COMPANY AND THE TEAM

Our client is a large Canadian manufacturer and distributor of consumer goods and a leader in their industry. For over 65 years, they have researched and created innovative and top market products of utmost quality.

The company is undergoing expansion into more global markets and the legal department needs have grown. They are looking for a Legal Counsel that can fill a generalist, commercial law role, someone that will be comfortable with contract review and negotiations.

The chosen candidate will be joining a respected legal team where innovation, new projects and ideas are welcome, and where team building is a priority.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position will support all general commercial issues pertaining to the organization’s needs, from a large diversity of contract reviews and negotiations, sales / procurement, to real estate and leasing, marketing and branding, IT, etc.
• The candidate will have an advisory role, they will act as a business partner, and have a key role in supporting several different departments.
• Handle a high-volume of business files simultaneously, keep up with a fast-paced environment.
• Contribute creatively to the team with new ideas and input, think strategically, and get involved in the process improvement of the legal operations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Member in good standing with the Bar of Quebec.
• A minimum of 4 years’ experience in commercial law, ideally acquired in a big firm or large organization.
• Good business acumen, solutions-oriented.
• Proactive, comfortable with teamwork.
• Resourceful, creative and agile.
• Work well in a fast-paced environment.
