Job Description : The Benefits Coordinator has a primary leadership responsibility and full accountability of the disability income plan. Work includes processing of benefit applications, utilization of payroll related databases, maintenance of personnel files, administering of Waiver of Premium applications, maintaining a database of employees on disability, secretarial support, receptionist duties, statistical collection. The relief support duties when covering for the Benefit Coordinator RTW include : assisting coordination and direction of workflow for Return to Work Services such as assisting with intake of internal and external correspondence. This position provides support to the Manager of Return to Work Services and Return to Work Consultants and other identified departments within the PSP portfolio. This level requires extensive independent decision-making within established rules, policies, and procedures.
