We are looking to have a full-time bilingual (French / English) Procurement Specialist join our team! This position will involve working hybrid from our office location in Montreal, QC.
SUMMARY
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for collaborating with Procurement Managers on a multitude of Procurement projects ranging from RFXs, contract management reviews and other supply chain management initiatives. Key activities include but are not limited to CBG client interviews, financial analysis and the modeling of proposals in the creation of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint communication summaries.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Planning & Delivery
- Engages stakeholders to understand business requirements
- Develops and recommends strategic plans for Manager review
- Implements strategic plans
Sourcing Strategy
Assist in the development and recommendation of sourcing strategies that maximize value and mitigate risks to the company and its clients.Assist with the implementation of the sourcing strategyOpportunities Assessment & Implementation
Identify cost improvement opportunities for assessment.Achieves improvements in operational efficiencies and cost savings as a resultCompetitive Bids
Support the execution of end-to-end competitive bid process for strategic plansSupplier Relationship Management
Develops and maintains effective relationships with suppliersSupplier Contractual Agreements
Develops, implements, amends and monitors supplier contractual agreementsStrategic Sourcing Best Practices & Industry Trends
Maintains in-depth and current category knowledge as well as knowledge of strategic sourcing best practices and industry trendsProvides category and strategic sourcing subject matter expertiseVendor Qualification & Set-Up Process
Reviews and approves vendor set up requests and vendor information changesPerform Anti-Bribery and Corruption due diligencePurchase Order Administration
Reviews requests and process purchase ordersPrepare, send and file Purchase Orders on a daily basis meeting established quality standards.Responsible for daily maintenance of existing Purchase Orders.Support
Utilize standard templates for all strategic sourcing activity including but not limited to RFx templates, contract agreements, scopes of work, service level agreements, and letters of agreementsEnsure adherence to Company Policies, Processes and Work InstructionsSupport Procurement team members as requiredOther
