The Department of Information Technologies is currently seeking a Full‑time Regular RPA Lead Solution Architect within the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) group, reporting to the Associate Director, ERP Systems & Services. This position manages and mentors a team of developers and is responsible for the technical aspects of the RPA program, including architecture, integration, and operationalization of enterprise‑wide automation solutions.
Technical Design and Development
- Takes ownership for the success of the technical aspects of the RPA program
- Roadmap and continuous service improvement
- Overall responsibility for the architecting and sustainment of large, complex, mission‑critical automations
- Ensure all systems align with IT architectural standards and roadmaps
- Consult with cross‑functional client groups and IT support teams to determine delivery and service requirements
- Resolve business problems, identify automation opportunities, and capture design documents within the RPA COE
- Develop work plans, estimates, methodology, and procedures for automation development and integration projects
- Investigate and stay current with intelligent automation product directions and emerging technologies
- Responsible for digital worker security setup and compliance
- Collaborate with PeopleSoft ERP technical and functional teams to optimize ERP‑RPA relationships
- Interface with external systems for necessary integrations
- Design and build automations using software development methodologies
- Maintain and enforce appropriate technical design and development standards
- Ensure deployed automations are properly monitored and issues are resolved quickly
- Ensure custom object dependencies are fully understood and risks addressed
- Develop reports and dashboards for internal and external use
Leadership and Staff Development

Education & Experience
Post‑secondary degree in Computer Science or a related field5–7 years of experience in Intelligent AutomationsWell‑rounded knowledge of all aspects of automation architecture2–3 years of leading a development teamMaster‑level knowledge of the software development lifecycleAdvanced knowledge of audit, ITGC controls and security standardsAnalytical skills for sound decision‑making and complex problem resolutionTechnical Skills
