Position: Technical Sales Representative

Location: Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada

Employment type: Full‑time

Seniority level: Entry level

Responsibilities

• Responsible for new business development as well as maintaining existing territory
• Prospect for new customers, set appointments and demonstrate product benefits
• Develop strategic relationships with customers to identify and leverage the customers’ business goals, growth strategies, and profit drivers and deliver the appropriate value proposition strategy
• Work with management to develop sales strategies and new business prospects
• Respond to customer product inquiries
• Engage in direct sales activities
• Promote existing and new products
• Anticipate client direction and objectives
• Manage a robust sales territory
• Maintain cooperative and productive team relationships
• Attend training and sales meetings as required
• Meet or exceed sales targets

Qualifications

• Preference for individuals with mechanical aptitude and experience in industrial or agricultural type sales
• Sales and service oriented
• Professional conduct
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to prospect for new clients
• Ability to utilize technology to source and find components and information
• Maintain customer relations and build new relationships
• Analytical and problem‑solving capability
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
