JUNIOR PROJECT MANAGER / GIS ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIALIST

Overview

Junior Project Manager / GIS Environmental Draftsperson in our Edmonton office. The successful candidate will report to the Northern Regional Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with designing and conducting Detailed Site Assessments, Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments, including drilling and soil sampling programs, conducting groundwater monitoring and sampling programs, interpreting analytical laboratory results, analyzing and interpreting the collected environmental data and writing technical reports; and
• Assisting with the design and implementation of remediation systems.
• Assisting with the implementation of reclamation activities.
• Coordination and completion of vegetation management activities.
• Generating drawings including aerial photographs, site plans, cross sections, fence diagrams, isometrics, borehole / test pit logs, and analytical results from project manager sketches and / or notes and as required for various projects.
• Decipher information from preliminary data, field notes, sketches, survey plans, and GPS in order to create accurate drawings and plans.
• Obtain Certificates of Title, legal plans, composite map, parcel identifier, and other documents from Land Title Office.
• Interpret and compile Land Title information for preparation of accurate legal drawings.

Compensation
