Seasonal Engineering Assistant

The City of Winkler is looking for energetic and positive people to join our seasonal facilities maintenance team!

What Youll Do :

You will work together with the rest of the Planning & Engineering team to provide technical assistance for surveying and AutoCAD / GIS for capital projects lot grading infrastructure data collection and support programs particularly relating to the Planning & Permitting and Engineering Services Departments.

Duties may include but not be limited to :

• Assist with field surveys and data collection on various City projects.
• Infrastructure data entry into GIS system.
• Produce Autodesk Civil3D drawings and schematics for our Planning and Engineering Department.
• Assist with maintenance of engineering plans and records.
• Conduct survey stakeout and inspection of lot grading plans.
• Assist in sample collection.
• Perform other related duties as requested and assist with the general operation of the Planning and Engineering office.
