Biomedical Engineer
Responsibilities :
- Research, design and develop biosignal acquisition systems.
- Design, rapid prototyping, assembly, data collections, analyses.
- Technical reporting.
- Troubleshooting technical issues as they arise.
- Work closely with a variety of people / teams with different disciplines (mechanical, firmware, data science, software, industrial design, textile) for system integration.
Qualifications :
- Degree and experience in biomedical engineering or relevant fields. Graduate degrees are a plus.
- New grad applications welcome. 1-3 years of experience is preferred.
- Strong experience in signal processing techniques. Experience with biosignal processing is a bonus.
- CAD design and 3D printing experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in operating electronics test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and typical laboratory instruments.
- Hands-on experience with assembling, prototyping, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of analog / digital circuits and embedded software.
- Experience in biosignal recording, instrumentation and signal processing techniques.
- Programming languages such as Python (preferred) and / or MatLab and / or C and / or C# and / or Java.
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and leadership capabilities.
- Ability to contribute and work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
