Position : Marketing Manager
Reporting to the Chief Business Development Officer, the role of the Marketing Manager is to both lead and contribute to marketing and communications initiatives across the business with the goal of creating awareness for the BridgePoint brand and products and managing all marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Management of marketing and communications projects.
- Event management lead. Organize, coordinate and participate in conferences and related marketing events, and work with organizers and key contacts.
This includes liaising with vendors, exhibitors, and stakeholders, while coordinating all set-up, tear down and follow-up processes.
- Research lead on all marketing and business initiatives.
- Assist with social media calendar, contribute to content strategies and copy writing, including research.
- Coordinate print-related activities, including project management, estimating, proofing and delivery.
- Assist with all email campaigns, including distribution and reporting.
- Manage reviews and responses on Google and social media.
- Contact for all media, vendor and association partnerships. Manage relationships including proactively resolving any issues and outstanding deliverables.
Maintain timelines and ensure materials are proofed and supplied to media / publications.
- Prepare sales and marketing materials and presentations.
- Manage law firm outreach program and associated contact lists.
- Contribute to marketing and communications strategies and ideation.
- Maintain and organize all brand assets and materials.
- Assist with website CMS and updating dynamic content.
- Research and identify content topics for blog, aggregators and paid / earned media.
- Participate in plans to improve organizational effectiveness including training in key platforms.
Education
- An undergraduate degree in marketing or related field is preferred.
- Related diploma program or training in key marketing platforms an asset.
Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum of three years marketing / advertising experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strict attention to detail.
- Creative thinker that can apply ideas to research, brand, strategy and execution.
- Ability to analyze opportunities and provide recommendations substantiated with sound rationale.
- Experience with social media channels and managing related platforms (i.e. Sprout, Hootsuite) an asset.
- Experience with email campaigns and platforms (i.e. Mailchimp) an asset.
- Understanding of CMS (Wordpress) and digital environment (i.e. website architecture, key online metrics, Google Analytics).
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite is an asset.
- Ability to work well under pressure, efficiently handling multiple tasks and prioritizing accordingly.
- Responsible work ethic, strong organizational skills and ability to take initiative on opportunities / projects.
- Ability and desire to learn new tools and grow within the organization.
