Building and Property Services Lead

The purpose of the Building and Property Services Lead (Terminal Lead)is to support the Terminal in its day-to-day operation. Your goal will be to maintaining a safe and organized environment for all staff to work in. This will include coordinating and managing contractors and ensuring all necessary repairs are made in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Specific Responsibilities include :

• Support with yard maintenance. This will include garbage cleanup, yard lighting, gate maintenance & trouble shooting, snow / ice removal and winter preparation.
• Support with office and building maintenance. This will include maintaining and periodic test of all fire monitoring equipment, change out ceiling tiles, maintaining lighting and general repairs / installation of office equipment.
• Work with vendors to ensure safe operations in a cost-effective manner.
• Maintain a high level of security of the terminal supporting Birds Eye.
• Support Bison Transport policies and procedures by engaging in the resolution of any safety concerns.
• Liaison between Maintenance Coordinators, Dock Coordinators, Shop Manager & Dock Manager.
• Participate and make necessary repairs from all inspections.
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned / required.
