Our client within the Broader Public Sector is seeking a Payroll Coordinator on a 7-month contract opportunity. This is a FULLY REMOTE opportunity.

Please note successful candidates must have experience with SAP Employee Central Payroll.

Responsibilities :

  • Assist in processing payroll for a large number of employees, including heavy hiring periods.
  • Collaborate with a team of payroll coordinators to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.
  • Handle a variety of payroll-related inquiries from employees and internal HR service / support teams.
  • Implement manual processes and workarounds, including running reports, importing spreadsheets, and performing manual data corrections.
  • Support the busiest time of year (Aug-Oct) with the highest average volume of transactions.
  • Provide assistance with expected higher volume of support calls, processing many new manual processes, and dealing with peak transaction periods.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 2 years of community college education.
  • SAP experience required with experience with Employee Central Payroll
  • PCP designation or pursuing PCP certification preferred.
  • At least 1 year of payroll experience, with familiarity with the entire annual payroll cycle.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
