Our client in the trucking industry is looking for a qualified customs specialist to support with their truckers driving from Canada to USA or Vice-Versa, preparing all documents necessary, ensure clearances and communication with CBSA agents.

Looking for someone with 2+ years of experience with well-diverse knowledge to take over the clearances. Experience working in a trucking environment is a asset!

Responsibilities

• Prepare and send customs documents to custom brokers
• Ensure completion and compliance for clearances
• Communication with drivers and routing drivers
• Dealing with CBSA
• Data entry
• Reduce errors
• Other related tasks

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in Customs
• Experience working in transportation company
• Strong attention to detail, meticulous, resourceful
• Advanced English with a functional French
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong organization skills, communication, problem-solving, decision-making, teamwork, and analytical skills.
