Role Summary :

This role of Coordinator has two facets to the position.

The Service Advisor role is to be in the forefront of the repair and service opportunities. While working with the planner, the Service Advisor is to execute the commercial functions to communicate with customers and meet the customer’s needs.

Answer technical and commercial questions and provide technically sound and competitive quotation solutions for repair or service jobs.

Additional responsibilities include problem solving as it relates to the repair of valves and automations, and hosting inspectors as required.

The Order Fulfillment Coordinator side is to be the forefront of active valve orders. This role will be working with suppliers and engineering to track and report out on order status as required by the customer.

Additional responsibilities include documentation collection and organization for each order as required. The activities for this portion of the role do not include quoting or sourcing new valve solutions but commences once a valid order is received.

Responsibilities :

  • Supporting Sales for Repair and Service Orders
  • Receipt of inquiry from Customer and / or Sales
  • Create Aftermarket Portal Opportunity and Job Folder
  • Sending Incoming Good Form for customer to send in valve
  • Initial and final quotation for all stages of repair cycle
  • Support for Disassembly, Cleaning, Inspection & Quality
  • Identifying upgrade / modification opportunities
  • PO contract review & new customer MDM and T&C’s review
  • Sales Order Header entry into Oracle
  • Send to Planning
  • Interact with customer on upgrade / modification / discovery work
  • Update Sales Order and Aftermarket Portal. Price confirmation
  • Support Planning / Technicians with any technical issues in the rebuild of the valves
  • Process valid POs for new valve orders
  • Create BOM as required
  • Track order status throughout it’s life and communicate with customers as needed with delivery updates
  • Working from facility position

Requirements

  • Technical Degree an asset
  • 3 4 years of related Customer Service Experience OR
  • 4 Years of successful Service Coordination or application engineering experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Knowledge and experience in serving process control markets
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to present effective information in one-on-one or small group settings with customers
  • Detail oriented with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, Internet along with the ability and willingness to learn how to use other or new business software packages as required by the role
  • Oracle experience is not required but preferred
  • Working ERP knowledge is beneficial
  • Valve and Actuation shop experience is beneficial
