Your role :

Are you an inspirational leader with extensive experience within entity controlling and regulatory reporting?

Do you have the ability to act as a single point of contact to the Business and a Board of Directors on all aspects of the end-to-end Finance processes and controls?

Are you adept at managing and facing off to multiple senior internal and external stakeholders?

We're looking for a Chief Financial Officer to :

• lead a Finance team to support the Canadian Broker Dealer and Canada Asset Management businesses
• be responsible and accountable for all Financial, Regulatory, Tax and Management Reporting and liaise with internal and external stakeholders in relation to all reporting matters
• be a member of the executive management and report to the Entities' Board of Directors on financial matters
• manage the Entities' financial and regulatory reporting deliverables while maintaining a strong control environment and practice innovative thinking to drive Operational Excellence
• implement best-in-class practices and provide inputs into strategic initiatives and participate in and review / sign-off New Business / Product initiatives representing Finance
• lead, coach and develop the Entities' financial and regulatory reporting team

Your expertise

• 7+ years' Financial Control Experience
• extensive experience in supporting complex regulatory reporting and audited financial statements
• strong understanding of internal controls
• strong knowledge of Accounting (IFRS), Financial Markets and Project Management
• track record of success in delivering high quality performance in a dynamic workplace
• demonstrated experience in communicating and dealing with Regulators & Auditors
• ability to influence & constructively challenge the business & senior management and leverage a network of relationships to achieve results
• ability to successfully design and manage multiple complex projects at any given time
