Plasman is currently seeking a new member to join our MATERIALS team as a :

SHIPPER / RECEIVER

The Shipper / Receivers are to assemble the orders prior to shipment at Plasman, Windsor 1 Manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

Organize orders as set out by the Materials Manager.

Preparing these orders for shipment including, labeling, verification, shrink wrapping, etc.

Notifying scheduling immediately if any order cannot be fulfilled.

Load and or unload trucks.

Receive incoming materials.

Remove labels from containers as required.

Relieving inventory in TRANS4M as required.

Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience We're Looking For

Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent.

Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.

Must be able to work in a team atmosphere

Ability to perform well in high pressure situations.

Ability to work well in unsupervised atmosphere.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Basic computer skills (e.g., Excel, Word, TRANS4M).

Access to reliable transportation.

Preference given to those who have previous shipping and / or receiving experience.

Preference given to those who have previous forklift experience.

This position offers a compensation rate of $26.76 per hour , dependent on skills and experience.
