Role Description :

• Reporting directly to the IT Services Manager the ABAP Cloud Developer is responsible for designing developing and maintaining scalable and efficient solutions within the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) with a focus on ABAP Cloud development.
• This role supports the organizations digital transformation initiatives by delivering high-quality cloud-ready applications that align with business requirements and SAP best practices.
• The developer collaborates closely with functional teams business analysts and other technical staff to ensure seamless integration performance optimization and continuous improvement of SAP systems.

Skill Requirements / Qualifications : The Resource must have the following minimum qualifications or experience : Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office (i.e. Word Excel Outlook TEAMS). Experience with SAP S / 4 HANA ECC and other SAP modules. Proficiency in ABAP RAP and CDS views. Experience with SAP BTP CAP SAP Fiori / UI5 and SAP Business Application Studio. Strong understanding of SAP CPI APIs (REST SOAP) IDocs. Experience with Git gCTS transport management CI / CD pipelines and Cloud ALM. Skills in building CDS analytical views SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and using embedded analytics in S / 4HANA. Minimum 5 years in similar role. A post-secondary degree in Computer Science Information Technology Software Engineering Management Information Systems or an equivalent combination of education training and experience may be considered. Excellent problem-solving skills / troubleshoot with keen attention to detail. Strong communication skills with ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written. Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse teams : build and maintain positive relationships with co-workers direct reports and stakeholders. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Experience working in a public sector environment. Preferred Qualifications or Experience : Experience working on large ERP programs Experience converting from SAP ECC to SAP S / 4 HANA Familiarity with SAP implementation methodology Familiarity with Project Management methodologies particularly Hybrid Agile Experience working with large System Integrator teams
