Technical Writer

Job description :

Our client is a company specializing in the design and manufacture of building materials. They are looking for a new Technical Writer Draft instructions and procedures as part of Engineering Change projects. The role includes translating, formatting, publishing, and distributing technical documents.

Your role : Technical Focus

• Write, analyze, and validate technical documentation in collaboration with engineering, scientific, and cross-functional teams.
• Produce and maintain structured documentation : technical data sheets, installation guides, user guides, maintenance guides, cybersecurity white papers, etc.
• Ensure quality, consistency, and compliance with internal standards and quality systems.
• Manage the publication, layout, and distribution of technical documentation.
• Coordinate the translation of documents produced.
• Resolve issues related to technical writing, desktop publishing, and distribution.
• Work in the PLM system to create / modify documentation.
• Use structured XML creation tools (asset) and Creo Illustrate (advantage).

Project Focus

Job conditions :

Working hours : Monday to Friday

Job location : On site, Quebec city (occasional work in remote)

Salary : Starting at 75k (depending on experience) + 5% annual bonus

Position type : Executive - permanent contract
