Senior Robotics & Automation Technician
Job Description

- Maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair robotic and automation equipment
- Repair and maintain injection molding equipment and related auxiliary equipment
- Assist Engineering Manager with the installation and building of robotics systems throughout the plant
- Preventive and Corrective maintenance of automation equipment
i.e. machine robotics, assembly equipment, End-of-Arm Tooling, packaging and conveying equipment, vision inspection systems).
Preventive and Corrective maintenance of injection molding and support equipment.
Ideal Requirements :
- Robotics and / or automation experience in a tooling environment.
- Robotics, Electrical, Automation or Mechtronics related diploma is ideal.
- Knowledge or familiarity with end of arm tooling, jigs, fixtures, stamping tools and general tooling knowledge an asset.
- Familiarity with robotic automation, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical systems
- Previous experience in automotive manufacturing and / or a plastic injection molding plant an asset.
- Have the ability to analyze data to determine possible trouble areas.
- Ability to analyze, repair, modify and maintain Automation equipment.
- Able to troubleshoot pneumatic and industrial electrical problems.
- Familiarity with assembling and reassembling robots
- Work closely with team to set-up, troubleshoot, and modify End-of-Arm tooling and robots used in injection molding machines for parts handling an asset.
- Familiarity with the repair and maintenance of programmable controllers, conveyors, end-of-arm tooling, robotic systems, etc. and asset.
