Responsibilities :
- Provide support, operation and maintenance activities relating to SaskPower’s SAP systems and other related applications.
- Design, develop and implement customizations in accordance with SaskPower.
- Provide leadership in the development of new SAP solutions.
- Perform batch job management including scheduling, monitoring and efficiency.
Deliverables / Quality of Service :
- Support of SAP development.
- Assess and resolve impact of applying vendor patches, upgrades, releases on custom code.
- Batch job scheduling and monitoring using defined technical tools.
- Quality Assurance.
- Documentation of RICEFW (reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and work-flow).
- Development Environment and Version control.
Qualifications & Experience :
Education & Certifications :
Post-secondary education in computer technology (BSc, MSc).
General :
- Minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience as an ABAP / J2EE / WebDynpro / Fiori / Gateway / HANA Studio Developer with ABAP certification and knowledge of object-oriented programming with practical experience in supporting SAP development.
- Experience with SAP Solution Manager for managing custom code and Change Management (ChaRM).
- Experience with SAP partner products, including Cideon Product Suite for AutoCad integration, Redwood, Output Management, OpenText document storage, etc. are beneficial.
- Process Orchestration (SAP PO) for managing data exchange.
- One full life cycle SAP project implementation preferred.
- Experience in design and development of corporate systems.
- Experience in a language with an integrated data dictionary.
- Experience in documentation of code.
- Aware of new developments and trends.
