Job Description

How You’ll Make an Impact :

• Service, install, maintain, and repair all medical equipment including but not limited to the following; medical, lab, diagnostic, and electronic medical equipment safely and promptly
• Perform incoming inspections and testing on all new equipment and newly arrived equipment that has been serviced outside the hospital, and maintain an up-to-date incoming inspection and service record of this equipment
• Acquire the training and knowledge necessary to repair and service selected new and existing medical equipment
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks, maintain PM records, and participate in Department and Hospital Quality programs and initiatives
• Maintain competence by participating in hospital education and departmental equipment training programs
• Work with the other Biomedical Electronics Technologists and Hospital to ensure a safe environment for staff, visitors and patients
• Project work and other duties as assigned
