We are looking for a ON-CALL In-Store Product Sampler for the Vancouver Island area
1 - Victoria
2 - North up to Duncan
Must have access to a personal vehicle
- Hourly Wage : starting from $18.00 / hour if called in, if not, 50 dollars flat rate per day on on call days.
- Start Date : November 1st Ongoing
- Job Status : Part time Hourly
- Total Hours : 18 hours (+ a potential 12 hours)
Schedule :
- Fridays from 3 PM - 9 PM
- Saturdays and Sundays from 12 PM - 8 PM
Key Responsibilities :
- Product Demonstrations : Organize and conduct in-store sampling events highlighting featured products.
- Customer Engagement : Actively engage with customers, providing product information and encouraging purchases.
- Product Knowledge : Understand the brands and products to communicate their benefits effectively.
- Setup and Cleanup : Organize product displays and follow food safety protocols.
- Sales Support : Direct interested customers to the correct aisles for purchases.
- Compliance : Follow company and store guidelines, ensuring demonstrations meet safety standards.
Qualifications :
- Must have access to a vehicle
- Must have Food Handler certificate
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Organizational skills and attention to detail
- Sales-driven with a proactive approach to promoting products
- Positive, Energetic, Lively and Charismatic
- Previous retail, promotions, or customer service experience is preferred (training provided)
- Previous hands-on experience in brand marketing and customer engagement would be an asset
Work Environment :
- In-store work during peak shopping hours (evenings and weekends)
- Branded uniforms will be provided
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
