Intermediate Mechanical Designer

All-Equip Repair & Service is seeking a JUNIOR MECHANICAL DESIGNER to grow into the senior designer role at our St. Mary's office, for work in the agriculture and transport industries.

The successful candidate will possess CADD fundamentals to create parts and assemblies and assist in new product design and development, providing production support as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design / detail mechanical systems and components in CADD.
• Interface with design and manufacturing.

Skills / Qualifications :

• Mechanical aptitude with fundamental design understandings.
• Diploma in Mechanical Design.
• Exposure to CADD.
• Knowledge of steel fabrication, materials and manufacturing processes is an asset.
• Attention to detail, accuracy and organization.
• Ability to work both independently and with supervision in a team environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Adaptable and flexible to changing priorities.
• Ability to multitask.

Compensation :

• This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday 7 am - 4 pm.
